It's link day because I proclaim it to be. Actually, I'm on a wicked self-imposed deadline, so enjoy these things I've been wanting to share:
It's not about the annoying sound byte of birds when you click on this, although that does add atmosphere. It's about the hauntingly brilliant mind that was Poe. Enjoy.
For readers who want to get their freak on-their control freak-the no-risk book selection tool. If only editors and agents calibrated this thing to market demand.
A feast for the eyes, to stir the muse.
And a comprehensive collection of the funniest beer ads ever created.
That about cover it? Dark, light, creativity and laughter. Yep, that'll do. Happy Thursday!
"I shed tears. I laughed. I thoroughly enjoyed this great story! (5/5 hearts)"
~Brenda Talley, The Romance Studio
"Had me captivated from the very beginning. (4 books)"
~ Jasmine, The Long and Short of It
"A fun, romantic read. I would love a sequel! (5/5 hearts)"
**Reviewer Top Pick**

A single administrative assistant accepts her temporary boss’s offer to masquerade as his fiancée to keep his matchmaking grandmother out of his personal life and out of the way while he negotiates a high-profile merger for his family-owned company. In exchange, she’ll get the down payment for the loan she needs to keep her ex from selling her condo out from under her.
But neither of them counted on the lines blurring between real and pretend--or for the temporary arrangement to leave them both longing for something more permanent.
Sherry is a huge part of who I am as a writer. She's as talented spinning an intricate urban fantasy as she is tapping into that rare dark humor I can only aspire to. Today's most valuable link.
I'm just checking in from work right at the moment so I'll have to check these links later.
I stand and applaud. Those links were great. I think I'm going to do that in a day or two. I thought the Poe one was incredible. The writing exercise was fun, and I must have clicked onto at least five of the beer commercials, chuckling stupidly at each one. Yep. I'll be going back there.
One word: level. Level? Level?!? That's no fun.
Thanks for the links!
I enjoyed the links! Love "The Raven" and Poe so that was a nice treat! I will bookmark that one! I also like the 'oneword' concept, even though I am not a writer. What an awesome concept! The forty photographs were all beautiful and inspiring...and a reminder that I don't get out enough. 😉

Love the links! Very clever. : )
Great links and, as ever, HUGE congrats to Sherry on her wonderful book release!!!
Charles, get back to work 🙂
Stewart, did you read the commentary on this version of Poe? A little high brow, but interesting.
Todd, the only level that would do it for me would be a stare...but that would be cliche...I'm with you. Next!
Darlene, some of those photos *have* to be enhanced. Regardless, they're beautiful.
Melanie, Marilyn and everyone, thanks for stopping by.
Hey gang...I'm removing the link for One Word. It's already played havoc on one reader's system. If you want to brave the writing waters on your own, you can find it at oneword.com
That was some serious eye-candy on that 40 Prettiest Pics site. I'm in awe. I didn't have time to go to the rest. Maybe another day.
Thanks for the great plug on HCB 🙂
