Sadly, I don't have a word count to brag on from my days spent in this remote cabin last week. But in my perfect little fantasy world, this $18,000 cabin would be located in a place not hot enough to fry an egg on its stone path, dry enough I wouldn't have to challenge my Diva Daisy anti-perspirant and backdrop enough to call itself Colorado. Even though the testosterone decor seeped between the knotty pine and taxidermic heads really don't inspire romantic interludes between my characters, I could challenge Nora and win using this little slice of heaven.
What is your ideal retreat?

I'm actually very very happy at the moment with the retreat I'm living in now. Our little place, which we call The Hermitage.

My ideal retreat would be a place of cold, so cold one could see his or her breath at any time of the day. This cold is a welcome contrast to the unwavering heat of summer in the city. This retreat would help calm my soul with the serenity of winter silence. The only sound in the distance is the swooshing hum of a light-saber slicing into a ton-ton's stomach for warmth. That's right the only place of retreat is that of a snow covered ice cap of the planet Hoth. Only there can a man truly feel one with the force. That is, until the imperial star destroyers cast an ominous shadow overhead.

A retreat deep in the mountain forests where there is no telephone or satellite dishes. Where you have to drive 20 miles or more to a town or gas station.
